The Maryland fire marshal is investigating two arson fires at an abandoned lumber yard in Sharptown. The two fires last month happened at the former J.V. Wells lumber yard. In the first one, two sheds completely burned. The second blaze flattened a large garage and dozens of firefighters came from at least five companies to the scene. So far no arrests have been made and no suspects identified

The charges arose out of Blount’s misuse of the personal information of dozens of unsuspecting consumers in different states, including their credit cards.
