In Bowersock v. Bowersock, 123 A.2d 909 Md.,(1956) the court stated that where wife had deserted husband for 18 months, the statutory period for divorce on such ground, before allegedly becoming insane or being committed to mental institution, husband was entitled to divorce on ground of such desertion while wife was committed to mental institution. Code 1951, art. 16, §§ 33, 149, 160.
